Shop locally, cook globally, eat with great gusto. Repeat!
We like to cook. We like to eat. We like to try (and sometimes invent) new recipes and find new places to shop, and sometimes we go out of our way to find specific ingredients. Our tastes are pretty diverse, and sometimes our food adventures lead us to interesting places. We invite you to join us on our adventures.

Another Option for Chewy Chocolate-Mint Cookies
I made up another batch of the Chewy Chocolate-Mint Cookies I've previously mentioned, but this time around I did something a bit different: I made them a bit smaller, using a 1-inch ball of dough for each cookie. This results in many more cookies (about 3 dozen, as opposed to 16 or so), and while they turn out more firm than the larger ones, they are still more chewy than crunchy, and they don't lose a thing in terms of flavor.
Other than that change, the recipe is as-written. So, if you'd like smaller cookies - perhaps because you wish to reduce portion sizes, or for whatever other reason, give that a try. Either way, I'm sure you'll like the results.
